Recent ActivityCOURSE DESCRIPTION - MILITARY SCIENCE III. Grades 11-12. This third-year course includes study in Techniques of Communication, Leadership, Presidential Physical Fitness, Drill and Ceremony, First Aid, Drug Abuse Prevention, Map Reading, American History, Citizenship, Career Opportunities, Role of the U.S. Army, Technology Awareness, and Motivational Programs. Cadets assume increasing positions of leadership and participate in the full range of class room and co-curricular activities. Cadet also teach new cadets in the Viking Battalion customs and courtesies, rules and regulations, proper wearing of the Army Cadet uniform and drill. All cadets participating in this class are required to wear their uniform properly, be in accordance with published and good grooming practices and conduct themselves with the Army's 7 Core Values and the Cadet Creed. Cadets are expected to abide by the high school and Prince William County code of behavior.
